Name: Sadie Cavery

Sadie Cavery was born in a small town just beyond the Johto region. Though the town got little traffic, they did see a good amount of ranchers, trainers, and scientists. After receiving her first pokemon, a ponyta, she began to tag along with ranchers in an attempt to live their lifestyle superficially. When she grew old enough she eventually joined the closest group of ranchers and worked hard to learn the trade.

Her parents still reside halfway between the plains where she lives and the northern part of the Johto region. Her brother Theodore (Teddy), however, became a scientist and studies avian pokemon in Goldenrod city.

Sadie is a relaxed, good natured individual. She isn't really competitive, and tends to avoid atmospheres that prize winning above everything. She prefers the outdoors to the city and being in the city for too long wares her out. While smart, she keeps a lot of judgments and ideas to herself. She tends to get along with most people, even if she doesn't understand them. If you have a problem, she isn't the one to tell though; she generally likes to point out how it could either be worse or how you're situation isn't all that bad, which bothers some people. Hard working and determined, if she sets herself a goal she does her best to accomplish it and rarely complains.

Due to a bad past experience (perhaps to be told in later rounds) she's easily flustered around outgoing and/or flirtatious men. She'll often shut down and become a bit introverted in these situations.

Sadie entered PCBCOS because her brother asked her to as a favor...what is he up to? She knows something fishy is going on, so she plans to enter and get to the bottom of things.

Pokemon

Sadie trained all of her pokemon to battle due to the threat of thieves and wild pokemon. They do not typically compete in any sort of competition.

Electrike – Jezebel “Jess”
Personality: Jess is loyal and always willing to help out. She doesn't get along with the other pokemon, mainly because they don't like her herding nature. She's easily entertained by tasks, puzzles, and challenges and ignores any negative feelings directed her way with confidence.

Jess was trained to protect the various fire pokemon Sadie raises. She keeps a look out on the herd, blending in fairly well with the grass as she keeps watch.

Shiny Numel – Eli
Personality: Eli is extremely nervous about everything. He has low self-esteem, is easily frightened, and though smart his clumsiness and forgetfulness make him seem rather stupid. He gets along best with Cassy, who protects and supports him, and Naomie, who can always make him smile.

Being shiny in coloration, Sadie took Eli into her care so that he could avoid having to go through a rough process of finding a new owner, as there was sure to be great demand for him.

Stantler – Cassandra “Cassy”
Personality: Cassy is quiet and calm. She doesn't say much, but when she does speak it's usually important. Her serene nature often calms the other pokemon on the team, especially Eli. While she's only of average intellect, she has a great instinct for what to do and what to say.

Sadie caught her in the wild and is now a member of a Stantler rescue and release group to support wild populations.

Rapidash – Lance
Personality: Sadie's first pokemon, Lance always believes he's right and more skilled than the others. His arrogance is quiet, but profound. While generally he simply struts about and looks down his nose at everyone, sometimes he can be caught laughing or sneering when he beats someone out. He, of course, denies it later. He's too dignified for that sort of thing.

Sadie received Lance as a ponyta from one of the ranchers that passed through her area when she was young.

Tauros – Blake
Personality: He's an ass, always making crude jokes and throwing his weight around. The funny thing is, despite all his harsh comments and bad jokes he gets extremely offended if anyone calls him names or makes fun of him. In a way, he's very sensitive. He doesn't mean his comments to hurt anyone, but he has no brain to mouth filter.

Sadie received Blake when she was trained in raising Tauros for the first time.

Girafarig – Naomi
Personality: Fun and flirty, there isn't anything that can get her down. She loves to tease and laugh and smile and treat everything lightly. Everything is a game to her and often that positive mood is contagious.

Her tail head, named "Nelly", has a sooth bell tied around it too keep it from acting up. As long as it has the bell it is calm and smiling and does nothing. When taken off it's especially unhappy and vicious, as if releasing pent up feelings.

Naomie was a gift to Sadie from her brother.
